Well this is surely not right. England has no beach such as this.

I imagine you would be hard pressed to find a place like this anywhere.

I have been a great number of places, the isles of Greece are similar, but you are correct. I have never seen a place just as this one.

Just wait until you've been here a while.
Assuming that you are new to this place, of course.

I have been here but a few hours. Is this place unacceptable? I have not seen lodgings yet.

Very. But once you're here a while you get used to it.
As for lodgings, darling, I suggest you look to the trees and hope something is still empty. Or at least not overcrowded.

Have you spoken to anyone else since you've arrived?

Oh this is not going to be a fun experience. No, I have yet to, actually everyone is dressed very oddly. I am trying to understand all of this.

Honestly, your experience here is going to be whatever you decide to make it.

I'm waiting for the buggers to start wearing leaves to cover themselves. But I noticed the same thing as well when I first arrived.
Different times breed different fashions, I suppose.

They find some of these things fashionable? Horrid forms of coverings on some of these children.

They're only bikinis!

Bikinis? They simply do not have enough cloth!

1876. What year is this now?

There isn't really a set year.

1939. But I've become accustomed to modern fashion.

Dorea is a beautiful name on its own. Your middle name is my first, what are the chances of this?

She never nagged me nearly as much as my mother did. But mother's are good for doing that to their daughters, I suppose.

If I had been in my time long enough to have grandchildren, I would not wish to nag them. That is their parents job, mine would be to spoil them.
